Personalization at relevance

Personalizing an outreach to what is actually true for this person and their company right now, rather than to a category (“automotive brands like yours”) or a persona (“heads of digital”). It sits at the top of what Jason Bay calls the hierarchy of relevance — industry, then persona, then the company, then the individual — where each rung down answers the buyer’s real question louder: why me, why now? Done well, a no-ask touch reads like a peer reaching out with something useful, not a vendor circling.

Source: Jason Bay / Outbound Squad’s outbound research and practice, reinforced by Gong’s 85-million-email study: company-level personalization replied around 9% versus roughly 2% for a generic baseline. WPH keeps the personalization craft and discards the cold-volume context it was taught in.
