Signal-triggered touch
A personal, useful outreach sent to a named account only because an observable event just happened there — a new digital or marketing head, a model launch, a site relaunch, a campaign going live, an awards entry, an executive move. The signal, not your calendar, decides when you reach out; the touch references the event, offers one genuinely useful thing, and carries no ask. At 80 accounts every signal can be watched by hand, so WPH never needs cold volume — it waits for the wave to form and paddles then.
Source: Course-coined term, built on Jason Bay / Outbound Squad’s “triggers” (evidence a buyer is living the problem right now, worth ~5x the response of generic outreach) and Craig Elias’s trigger-event selling. WPH’s adaptation strips out Bay’s cold-volume premise and his “always close on a meeting” ask: the craft transfers, the pitch does not.
